The Tenerife Challenger will host a series of the sport’s most elite players including the top seed, the Italian Fabio Fognini, former ATP number 9, the French Benoit Paire, former ATP number 18, the Jordanian Abdullah Shelbayh, who trained at the Rafa Nadal Academy, or Brandon Nakashima, winner of the Next Gen ATP Finals in 2022.
In addition to these international figures, the main draw will bring together six Spanish tennis players: Pedro Martínez, ATP 114 and number 2 seed, Pablo Llamas Ruiz, ATP 162 and number 6 seed, who managed to reach the quarterfinals in last year's Tenerife Challenger 3, winning his first trophy in the category in Segovia; Daniel Rincón, ATP 185, who has played five semifinals in these tournaments; Alejandro Moro Cañas, ATP 241; Barcelona's Pol Martin Tiffon, ATP 393; and Martin Landaluce, ATP 445, former world junior number 1 and winner of the 2022 US Open Junior. The last two are considered two of most promising young players on the international ATP circuit.
