The 5-star hotel Las Terrazas de Abama Suites continues to rack up awards. The most recent win is the 2021 Travelers’ Choice Awards, presented by the popular Tripadvisor site based on user ratings.
This recognition, given to establishments that offer guests exceptional experiences, is very special because it places Las Terrazas de Abama, managed by My Way Meaningful Hotels, among the 10% best hotels in the world, a repeat of the 2020 result.
In addition, this year's award for Las Terrazas de Abama Suites, which boasts 151 one- to four-bedroom luxury suites, is paired with Tenerife’s selection as one of the top 25 destinations on the planet, coming in at number 20 in the ninth edition of the Best of the Best. This recognition is determined by traveller ratings of ‘the best of the best’ for lodgings, attractions, restaurants, beaches and destinations based on their service and quality, as the company’s official website explains.
In the case of Tenerife, tourists appreciated that the island clearly reflects the cultural influence of the Guanche tribe (the original inhabitants prior to the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors 500 years ago). Other highlights are Teide National Park, named for Spain’s highest peak, and the spectacular cliffs of Los Gigantes, just a short distance from Las Terrazas.
The travellers’ platform also awarded the top prize to Siam Park (part of the Loro Parque group) located in Adeje, also in southern Tenerife, recognizing it as one of the top ten water parks and attractions in Spain, a great addition to the family offerings at Las Terrazas de Abama.
