Abama Golf is a course designed to test and surprise all players, regardless of their level of experience.

What is special about the maintenance of the Abama Golf course?
Unlike other courses, which use treated sewage water, Abama uses 100% desalinated water throughout the course and resort, because it has a water pre-treatment plant and a desalination plant. A cleaner and more sustainable process that allows Abama Golf to be self-sufficient in water.
Abama Golf is committed to the manufacture of its own fertilizers based on vegetable leftovers, from which the worm hummus necessary for fertilizers is made. It also invests in different grass varieties that need less water and are more efficient.
To help turf heal and prevent disease, greenkeepers use local and field plant extracts based on, for example, aloe and nettles. And to minimize the need for herbicides, they use vinegar. Abama Golf has an old threshing floor of the original farm on the course.
The threshing floors, Canarian historical heritage and of great archaeological importance, are open-air surfaces, prepared for threshing and winnowing cereals.
Another curiosity of Abama Golf is that, in one of its main lakes, an endangered bird can be sighted.
A species of osprey called Guincho, which attracts prestigious photographers who visit the course to take pictures of it.
It is a beautiful and well-kept course. It has a great design and fantastic views. It is worth playing it and having lunch in one of the fantastic restaurants offered by Abama.
