Why Abama Tennis is a special place?
Abama Tennis is special for many reasons but, above all, for its privileged location, its size and the quality of its facilities. From all its courts you can see the Teide National Park, with the volcano watching from the top of the island, and the Atlantic Ocean, with the island of La Gomera, both greeting you from the opposite side.
But, in addition to its views, its size is impressive.
Its central court can accommodate 600 spectators and has six other courts with bleachers and covered rest areas for players, as well as changing rooms, bathrooms and parking.
From the technical point of view, an important fact stands out. The 7 tennis courts have been used for various ATP and ITF circuit matches and are all equipped with artificial lighting and renewed Flexi®-Pave surfaces, in the style of the US and Australian Open courts.
The complex also offers 4 paddle courts with artificial lighting and new AstroTurf surfaces.
